Some advantages to hydroelectric energy is that it creates less pollution to the environment and don't hurt people as much. It has a low maintenance cost, and is generally free and provided by nature since it is water. Though there are some disadvantages to this energy source. They use a lot of limited resources, and take up a lot of land. Finally it traps animals that live in the water from going to other places. Overall hydroelectric power can be useful and powerful though they can affect us in the later years with animals and land erosion.
